About Us

Equity Wealth Builders has grown to what it is today from two investors investing in real estate, to a significant number of client investers who have sought a safe and profitable return on their money.   It started by flipping homes.  As we bought, upgraded and sold homes we found our capital being tied up until we closed on a home, sometimes prevented us from taking advantage of great opportunities.   So we started taking on investors.  Investors would provide capital towards a specific home.  They would receive from 8% to 12% on their money and their investment was secured by the property.  Typical investment periods were from 6 months to 4 years.  Some were longer as the property would cash flow well as a rental.

The original two investors are Creed Herbold and Robin Moffit.  See bios and pictures below. 

Robin Moffitt

Robin has over 38 years experience in the real estate market. She’s held positions in real estate brokerage and investment counseling. She is co-owner of Equity Wealth Builders and Secure Property Management and Owner/Broker at Gold Star Realty. She’s also a Certified Real Estate Instructor for the State of Idaho.

Robin is the author of numerous papers on topics ranging from Short Sale and Foreclosure Strategies to Investing with Self-Directed IRA Funds. She has authored several courses that are certified for Continuing Education by the State of Idaho, including “Creative Real Estate” and “Investor Logic: Looking for the Benefits”.

Creed Herbold

Creed is an entrepreneur who started his business career while completing his Finance degree at Boise State University. He started Taters, a Boise souvenir shop associated with the Boise Convention Center. He created the Famous Potato gift line and marketed it through his shop, print and online catalogs, and wholesaled it to over 50 different stores around the state of Idaho.

In addition to this venture, he has owned Mobile Tech Inc. He developed a mobile ATM business model that he sold throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Creed began his career in real estate 12 years ago when he saw the amazing growth of the Treasure Valley market. He has focused mainly on investment properties and is now co-owner of Equity Wealth Builders.
Both Creed and Robin currently work with investors to maximize their returns by lending private money and buying and holding real estate. They both believe that there has never been a better time to invest in the real estate market.

One of their goals is to take neglected properties that are bringing down neighborhood values, fix them up and bring them back to productive use.
